The PlateletMapping assays measure the ability of platelets to participate in clot formation, with and without the effect of anti-platelet drugs relative to the overall clot strength. The TEG System provides information to help you answer these questions: n How is the patient’s platelet function responding to their anti-platelet therapy and what is the effect on their coagulation? What is their risk of bleeding during surgery? Is the patient protected from DVT/PE or other thrombotic risks after surgery and prior to discharge?
