GENERA UDD Ultrasonic cleaning and debridement of chronic skin lesions GENERA UDD consists of an ultrasound generator operating in continuous mode which can activate a titanium probe, irrigated with saline solution, via a peristaltic pump and mounted on the handpiece of a piezoelectric transducer. The transducer converts the electrical pulse into mechanical vibration at a frequency of 26 KHz and the titanium probe mounted at the end of the handpiece transmits and amplifies the vibrations to the tissues by direct contact.
