pioneer detection system PKAIWOOD EASEmed KWikEASE Canine Coronavirus (CCV) Test Kit is designed to detect the antigens of CCV in canine feces using two monoclonal antibodies in the kit specifically bind with different epitopes of the antigens in a sandwich immunoassay. Fluid sample (diluted and emulsified fecal sample) containing antigens of CCV when applied to the pad in the sample well move and bind with purple colored gold-colloid conjugated monoclonal anti-CCV in the conjugate pad, forming Ab-Ag complex. This complex, then migrates along the membrane and is captured by another monoclonal anti-CCV antibody in the test zone on the nitrocellulose membrane, and appears as a purple T line. Colloidal gold which is not captured at the Test zone migrates toward the Control zone downstream on the membrane and is captured by other impregnated antibodies to the colloidal gold and shows up as the Control Line, which acts as a procedural control. Detection of Canine Corona Virus antigens from canine feces. Individually foil pouched test devices: Test buffer tube (1 ml/tube): Disposable droppers: Swabs for sample collection: d. Swirl and emulsify the specimen in the buffer Supernatant layer Feces particle e. Using the disposable dropper, drop 100 ul (4 drops) of the emulsified sample into the specimen well of the test device. TEST RESULT Test results can be inspected in 2 methods : A. Visual: Visual inspect by eye. B. Reader: Analyze with veterinary test reader. Visual inspect the test results within 10 mins. Read the result between 510 mln 1) Specimen Collection and Preparation Control Line (C): The line should always appear. If this line does not appear, the test should be considered invalid. This is probably because of impure buffer and the lack of specimen. It should be tested again with new buffer. Negative: Control line only appears. Canine Feces Storage of Specimen: If specimen is not used immediately, and used within 24 hours, store at 2-8 degrees C, or at -25 degrees C for later use. Keep the specimen at 22-25 degrees C before use. a. If specimen and test kits are stored at cold temperature (2-8 °C), allow them to reach room b. Remove a device from the foil pouch and place it c. Collect canine feces with a swab and put the swab into the diluents buffer tube containing 1 ml Do not use sticky or a lump of feces. Positive: Both Test and Control lines appear. Invalid Results requiring Retesting a) Both Test and Control lines do not appear. b) Only Test Line Appears and Control line does

B. Reader Analyze test results with CHR-116R Veterinary Test Reader in 10 minutes. a) Place the test cassette into the drawer of reader. Further examinations This test is for primary screening. Consult veterinarians for further necessary examinations to obtain clinical test results. Precautions 1) Use for In-vitro veterinary diagnostic purposes only. 2 Use within 10 minutes after opening the pouch because the test kit is very sensitive to moisture and its efficacy may diminish. 3) Be careful not to touch the result window. 4) Use a different dropper for each specimen. 5) Use only the buffer included...
