EXPERIENCE & QUALITY MACO SURFACE The implant surface in contact with the bone is subjected to a double treatment of sand blasting and etching in order to improve the biomechanical characteristics of the implant. This dual surface treatment has the purpose of generating, through sandblasting, one macro-rough layer on which the action of the acid creates microcavities. The presence of these microcavities, comparable in size to those of the osteocytes, facilitates the implant osseointegration. SURGICALPROTOCOL Seventeen-One surgical protocol involves the initial the drill lance (LD) and, subsequently, the drills, calibrated to height. Seventeen-One implant is self-tapping, and then, the protocol requires the under-preparation of the bone which, as known, can occur with four different types of resistance (D1, D2, D3 or D4). HEALING CAPS The healing screws prepare the implant site and condition the soft tissue surrounding the implant. MaCo provide two types, anatomical and standards depending on whether you use abutments with or without shoulder. It is advisable to tighten with a 1,2 mm hex driver with a torque of 10 Ncm.

Straight abutments, unique for all implants diameters, provide different transmucosal heights (are also available abutments devoid of transmucosal height) which allow a finishing preparation which is able to modulate unconditionally the finish line and tissues favoring the aesthetic and periodontal health. They are used for the manufacture of cemented prostheses, single crowns or bridges.

The angulated abutments, unique for all diameters of the implants, are used to modify the implant    axis. PLASTIC ABUTMENTS Plastic abutments are intended for use by the dental laboratory for melting customized abutments. Free-Bar abutments are made in a modular way: the hollow part of the abutment accommodates a removable tube that is used to fix bars without the constraints of rigidity that the coupling implant-abutment can cause in situations in which the planes of position are particularly divergent.
