inSPira HD SPECT

Product catalog summary
Overview: The document introduces the inSPira HD, a portable high-resolution SPECT imaging system designed for brain imaging. It is particularly useful in various medical departments such as clinics, ICUs, and emergency departments. The system is noted for its superior collimator technology compared to traditional Gamma cameras, offering high-quality SPECT images for clinical applications including epilepsy, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and stroke.
Core Features: The inSPira HD supports imaging of radioisotope energies between 80 to 200 keV. Key features include high spatial resolution, accuracy, sensitivity, portability, and versatility. The system is equipped with a Windows-based interface for easy setup and execution of scans, producing DICOM images compatible with PACS systems.
System Specifications: The system includes a 4-day onsite training, a 1-year all-inclusive warranty, 24/7 telephone support, and onsite personnel and spare parts availability within 24 hours. Routine maintenance and software updates are also covered.
Technical Details: The scanning sequence involves a spiral scan with detectors moving around the patient. The detector module consists of a focused collimator, Sodium Iodide crystals, and photomultiplier tubes, allowing high-resolution data acquisition. The system's unique design enables image acquisition with 3mm spatial resolution in X, Y, and Z axes.
Advanced Features: The inSPira HD offers TrueAC, an attenuation compensation method during reconstruction using patient CT, enhancing image resolution and accuracy. The system's performance is compared with traditional gamma cameras, demonstrating superior resolution and accuracy.
Imaging Workstation: The system includes a customizable imaging workstation with the MIMVista®Neuro package for quantitative analysis and image fusion. It features high-definition monitors and a powerful computing setup for efficient image processing and storage.
Company Background: NeuroLogica Corporation, established in 2004, specializes in innovative medical imaging equipment. The company is ISO certified and has received multiple awards for its contributions to medical imaging technology.

How Are We Different From A Typical Gamma Camera? How Each inSPira HD Detector Module consists of one 3 section focused collimator, three Sodium Iodide (Nal) crystals and three photomultiplier tubes (PMT). The focused collimator essentially forms a gamma ray lens which senses photons in an hourglass shaped volume and brings the scanned activity into sharp focus at the focal point. As this focal point is scanned through the slice volume, high resolution data is acquired for all voxels in the slice. Each channel independently detects gamma rays and accurately measures the energy of each photon...

What is TrueAC and why is it important? The inSPira HD is the only SPECT camera to offer TrueAC. TrueAC is Attenuation Compensation during reconstruction, not post-reconstruction, using a patient CT. TrueAC maximizes image resolution, provides quantitatively accurate reconstructions and provides a more accurate reconstruction than the traditional Chang correction method. ♦ Import patient CT or use included template library Small Jaszczak Phantom Demonstrates Accurate Attenuation Correction Gamma ray attenuation of the water and plastic causes an apparent drop off in activity in the center of...
