How Are We Different From A Typical Gamma Camera? How Each inSPira HD Detector Module consists of one 3 section focused collimator, three Sodium Iodide (Nal) crystals and three photomultiplier tubes (PMT). The focused collimator essentially forms a gamma ray lens which senses photons in an hourglass shaped volume and brings the scanned activity into sharp focus at the focal point. As this focal point is scanned through the slice volume, high resolution data is acquired for all voxels in the slice. Each channel independently detects gamma rays and accurately measures the energy of each...

What is TrueAC and why is it important? The inSPira HD is the only SPECT camera to offer TrueAC. TrueAC is Attenuation Compensation during reconstruction, not post-reconstruction, using a patient CT. TrueAC maximizes image resolution, provides quantitatively accurate reconstructions and provides a more accurate reconstruction than the traditional Chang correction method. ♦ Import patient CT or use included template library Small Jaszczak Phantom Demonstrates Accurate Attenuation Correction Gamma ray attenuation of the water and plastic causes an apparent drop off in activity in the center...
