Be Impressed, Free from Stress Non-Invasive Blood Pressure measurement with linear i nflation technology iNIBP technology measures NIBP while inflating the cuff. Conventional technology inflates the cuff to a fixed pressure then deflates the cuff to measure. In a clinical study of 323 measurements in the OR, iNIBP measured NIBP in an average of 13 s but the conventional step down method took an average of 33s. Conventional step down method Linear Inflation Time iNIBP is about 20 seconds faster. The conventional step-down method sets the maximum cuff pressure to over the previously measured systolic pressure. iNIBP intelligent technology inflates the cuff to just above the systolic pressure so it is faster and gentler to patients. iNIBP accuracy meets ISO 81060-2 and ANSI/AAMI SP10 standards. 87 patients and 261 measurements were used for the clinical investigation. If an artifact prevents pressure measurement during inflation, iNIBP automatically switches to conventional step down method to ensure a successful pressure measurement. Availability iNIBP technology is only available on Nihon Kohden patient monitors with the iNIBP label (BSM-1700 series) and YAWARA CUFF 2 NIBP cuffs. If a different cuff is used, the linear inflation measurement may change to step down measurement more frequently. The inflation bags of infant and child cuffs are too small for the linear inflation method so it is more likely to switch to step down measurement. Cuff pressure [mmHg] Target inflation pressure (180) Lower maximum cuff pressure Step deflation measurement Shorter measurement time iNIBP completes the measurement faster pressure. iNIBP completes the measurement faster with lower cuffwith lower cuff pressure.

Enhanced Patient Comfort Yawara(kai) means "soft touch" Conventional cuffs can cause bruising when the skin gets pinched between folds in the cuff. YAWARA CUFF 2 uses a smooth soft cloth and buffer sheet to prevent skin pinching. YAWARA CUFF 2 uses a kink-free tube which doesn't block the air flow even if the tube is bent at a 180° angle. This prevents harmful incidents related to kinking. YAWARA CUFF 2 is the only cuff with this extra margin of safety. Incorrect cuff size gives inaccurate pressure reading. YAWARA CUFF 2 has you covered with a complete range of sizes from infant to large...
