The innovation lies in the fact that scalp temperature is measured continuously with sensors during the scalp cooling treatment, and the degree of cooling is adapted to the individual patient’s physical reactions. Each patient reacts differently to scalp cooling. Some respond with a stronger supply of blood to the scalp than others. The blood supply is generally stronger at the front compared to the back of the head.
