^^^^atent Pending^* KEY CONCEPT: PROVIDES PROPER LONG-TERM POSITIONING FOR LIMITED/NON-AMBULATORY PATIENTS The DAFO 8 Softy uses a soft foam liner to provide comfort and good biomechanical, long-term posi- tioning for limited to non-ambulatory patients. The brace provides superb control over the hindfoot, forefoot and ankle, blocking plantarflexion and dorsiflexion. The DAFO 8 Softy is suitable for standing transfers, yet is designed to provide supe- rior comfort in non-ambulatory situations. The brace is ideal for patients that require moderate force to maintain a proper foot position. The soft foam liner is ideal for patients with challenging foot anatomy, difficult to correct feet, or those prone to pressure points and irritation. 1. Are non-ambulatory and need wrap-around foot control in order to maintain proper positioning. 2. Can maintain a better foot position with a reason- able amount of manual control. 3. Require precise foot and ankle control in non- ambulatory situations 4. Have difficult to correct feet or feet with sensitive boney prominences.
