Custom Procedure Packs • Pennine pioneered the introduction of custom procedure packs in the UK in 1992 • This new concept, originating from the US, was then adopted by an Acute University Teaching Hospital Trust in Sheffield • 24 years on, it is estimated that 60% of all surgeries performed involve some kind of procedure pack because of the benefits they provide

The key benefits of using custom procedure packs • The pack meets the needs of the hospital or surgeon. Complete customization • Reduce lay-up time for procedures by 15 minutes * per procedure, potential to increase theatre throughput.
