Note: The supplied placenta with umbilical cord provides a very simplified illustration. The focus of the trainer is on the assessment of the postpartum hemorrhage. The placenta can be inserted via the vagina and has tear-off sections. This must be recognized and, in real-life cases, treated with the appropriate wound care.
