HOLSTEIN DYSTOCIA SIMULATOR The VSI Holstein Dystocia simulator is a high-fidelity training tool trusted by veterinary educators worldwide. Designed with accuracy and functionality in mind, the VSI Holstein Dystocia simulator is realistic in both size and conformation. The calf is equipped with a steel, articulated skeleton which allows it to be placed in a variety of positions allowing students to gain the confidence needed to perform dystocia scenarios in a live setting – increasing clinical proficiency and helping to protect both the cow and calf. The Holstein Dystocia simulator includes a functional milk tank which can be used to perform the California milk test (CMT) through the introduction of mastitic milk into any of the milk tank quadrants. Both the Bovine Venipuncture/Epidural tail and the Bovine Uterus set, are compatible with the Holstein Dystocia simulator resulting in a well-rounded, practical training tool and outstanding addition to any bovine clinical skills training program.
