Introducing a new range: Alere Triage' Next Generation Troponin I Panels Current panel Next generation (NG) panels ■ Troponin elevation is a specific and sensitive indicator of cardiac myonecrosis, with release from myocytes into systemic circulation. ■ Elevated troponin alone is not an indication of MI (myonecrosis due to ischemia).
