Performance
The kit provides superior yields compared to bead systems, with purified cfDNA quantified by the Qubit system. Concentrations lower than 0.5 ng/ml are not detectable. PCR results show a higher success rate in amplification and sequencing with the iColumn system. The system effectively removes contaminants and inhibitors for PCR or qPCR. Comparative data between iColumn and bead systems demonstrate higher cfDNA yield and successful KRAS mutation detection with the iColumn system.

In order to catch more cfDNA, it’s quite normal to enlarge the sample volume. But once sample volume increased, inhibitors also accumulated.
