Solutions Innovation Research Award (SIRA) Agilent University Relations & External Research Guidelines 1. Call for proposals 2022 The Agilent Solutions Innovation Research Award (SIRA) is designed to stimulate the most innovative and impactful use of multiple Agilent products to help solve pressing scientific problems. The 2022 SIRA is focused on the synergistic use of mass spectrometry with the Agilent Seahorse XF Pro analyzer and Agilent BioTek Cytation 5 cell imaging multimode reader to accelerate biotherapeutic and early drug discovery research. One SIRA will be granted to the proposal that demonstrates the most innovative and impactful use of the three combined instruments to enhance drug discovery research. The award is open to all principal investigators from degree-granting academic institutions and nonprofit research organizations in North America. Applicants must already have access to a mass spectrometer (non-Agilent instruments are also welcomed) and will be supplied with the Agilent Seahorse XF Pro analyzer and Agilent BioTek Cytation 5 to support their proposed work. Applicants will submit a one-page proposal detailing their objectives, innovative methods for using the three instruments to enhance drug discovery, and a list of key research activities that will be undertaken during the one-year award period. 2. Go to SIRA webpage and register to download the SIRA Proposal form. c. Email your completed SIRA Proposal form to [email protected]. 3.
