Overview: This document is a data sheet for the Q-Front EDI system, which integrates ultrapure (Grade 1) and pure (Grade 2) water systems. It provides detailed specifications for various models, including QF-4101, QF-4201, QF-4103, QF-4203, QF-4105, and QF-4205.
Specifications:- Nominal Flow: Models offer nominal flow rates of 5 l/h or 10 l/h for pure water to the storage tank.
- Water Quality: Grade 1 water has a resistivity of ≥10 MΩxcm and conductivity of ≤0.1 µS/cm. Grade 2 water specifications are similar.
- Contaminant Levels: TOC levels are <10 ppb, with bacteria levels at <0.01 CFU/mL. Endotoxins are <0.15 EU/mL for most models.
- Dispense Rate: Ultrapure water is dispensed at 1.5 - 2 L/min.
- Display and Controls: Features a colour LCD display and side-mounted dispenser. Some models include a TOC monitor.
- Environmental Conditions: Operates within a temperature range of 15–30°C and relative humidity of 20–80%.
- Power Requirements: Requires 200–240 VAC, consuming 130 W with a 230 V, 3.15 A fuse.
- Dimensions and Weight: The system measures 35*39*54 cm and weighs between 27 kg and 31 kg depending on the model.
Feedwater Requirements:- Type: Potable tap water is required.
- Pressure: Feedwater pressure should be between 0.4–6.0 bar.
- Conductivity: Should be <2000 μS/cm.
- Temperature and pH: Feedwater temperature should be 5–35°C with a pH of 4–10.
- Contaminant Limits: Includes limits for fouling index, iron, aluminium, manganese, total chlorine, and dissolved CO2.
