EASA certified COVID-19 separation wall for Airbus H135 Series helicopters ↗ The wall was introduced to separate the cockpit from the cabin during the transport of COVID-19 patients. DESCRIPTION In times of a global pandemic, transporting infected patients is a challenge – especially by air. Therefore, RUAG has developed a wall that separates the cockpit from the cabin and shields the pilot from a possible infection. The wall can be installed quickly, is adaptable to specific cabin requirements and remains resistant, even with frequent disinfection. The wall acts as a barrier to protect pilots from an infection to the greatest extent possible, ensuring operational readiness for further flights. It has been tested for flame resistance and is EASA certified. The wall can be installed on all H135 Series helicopters.
