The Colony Counter BacSpot System and software can be used to image, store, organize and count bacterial colonies on standard culture dishes. It can also determine antibiotic resistance and inhibition with the same hardware. The fully automated Colony Counter systems recognize barcodes and export data to database, Excel or LIMS. The system is fully compliant with HACCP, 21CFR part 11 and CE requirements. AID offers a high-throughput version of the Colony Counter/Zone Reader for labs with about 800 Petri dishes per day. AID Colony Counter BacSpot Robotic System is the automated solution for fast and accurate enumeration of bacterial colonies on different types of agar-plates that are used for microbial growth. This system is compact and is capable of handling more than 200 plates per hour. Each plate is recognized by bar-coding system. The barcode reader enters the plate ID data into the Colony Counter or Zone Reader BacSpot software. The system is designed for high throughput analysis and is suitable for large clinical laboratories, drug discovery programs, and environmental monitoring, food and cosmetics industrial laboratories.
