Overview of Hygicult Product Line
Hygicult is a culture system designed for on-site microbial sampling, offering a reliable, economic, and time-saving method for microbiological hygiene monitoring. The product line includes five versions, each tailored for specific microbial detection needs, such as yeasts, moulds, coliform bacteria, Enterobacteriaceae, and general hygienic status monitoring.

Product Specifications

The plastic slide is covered on both sides with an agar medium and enclosed in an aseptic vial.
Storage should be at room temperature, protected from draught and light.
Hygicult TPC and E dipslides have been validated in a collaborative study across 12 laboratories, with validation reports approved by AOAC and NMKL.

Usage Procedure

Sample collection can be done by dipping the slide into a liquid, pressing against a surface, or swabbing.
Excess liquid should be blotted off after sampling.
Incubation can occur in an incubator or at room temperature, with results interpreted using a model chart provided with each kit.
For faster results, incubation in a Cultura M incubator is recommended.
