The aks support strap incorporates various auxiliary functions. It can be used as aid for transferring to a seat. In doing so, the complete sequence of movements is controlled by the caregiver. The uprighting and sitting down can also be supported by the c ­ aregiver without back strain. The aks lifting sling is an aid whose intended purpose is easy on the back support of the patient when uprighting from and setting down on a seat. This effectively makes the daily work of the care personnel easier. The aks support strap is also a valuable aid for walking with unsteady patients without having to hold their arm (prevention of pain). It has 6 grip loops making supporting and easier use by the caregiver possible. An adjustable and automatically centring fastener on the front side ensures a secure fit. Four sizes enable use with many different abdominal girths. Two sizes with two different length grip loop pairs in each case are available and can be used for different size patients.
