aks-torneo II the new active hoist with optimised kinematics The new active hoist, aks-torneo II, is preferably implemented for persons with residual mobility. The uprighting process is executed in a manner that is particularly gentle. The priority is on kinematics; the movements of the patient are optimally supported through the hoist. The advantages of the aks-torneo II • optimal kinematics – gentle uprighting and setting down of the person • safe transfer in standing, as well as in seated position • compact dimensions – can also be used for small persons and children • implementation in small rooms and with narrow doors • extremely manoeuvrable in the mallest s areas • ergonomic active hoist with low total weight for user-friendly operation • back-friendly care for the caregiver • emergency stop switch in the event of electrical faults, visual and acoustic warning of deep battery discharge at activation of the hand operating unit • highly stable thanks to mechanical spreading of the chassis per foot lever and stable design Accessories • special sling with additional strap for transfer into sitting position, available in four sizes (abdominal girth from 60 to 130 cm) • a supplemental aks-battery pack with separate charging station on the wall promotes independence in daily care (see p. 15) Available starting early 2012
