This is a basic version of an automatic single-headed capping machine. Bottles and canisters are positioned under the capping head using sidebands. Caps are aligned using a band feeder or rotation aligner and transported to a pick-and-place station, which positions the cap under the capping head. The capping head applies the required screw torque to secure the cap.
