Urodynamics Chair With many years experience in the field of Urodynamics, Albyn Medical recognised the need for a specialised Urodynamics Chair. Our new chair is manufactured from the highest quality components and materials. The quality of Urodynamic studies can be improved considerably if the patient is at ease and comfortable during the test, and this aspect was given a high priority in the specification and design of our new chair. Primarily designed for Urodynamic studies – Filling Cystometry, Voiding Cystometry & Urethral Pressure Profiles. May also be used for general Urology and Gynaecology procedures. Benefits: For the patient – • Low minimum height (512mm) – easier access for patients, especially elderly or those with physical difficulties. No need for steps or lifting aids. • Moveable/detachable leg extension cushions – easier access for patient. • Lateral cushions (optional) – provides extra-wide support for larger patients, hence greater comfort and stability. • Integrated flowmeter support – minimal position change required before voiding studies. Less stressful and more dignified for patient than moving onto separate commode chair. • Cushion material – soft and stitchless - comfortable for patient.
