Introduction to Boge 513™
The Boge 513™ is a specialized dental instrument designed for calculus removal during dental prophylaxis. It is available exclusively in XP Technology, which eliminates the need for sharpening. The instrument is offered in both fixed and Quik-Tip® cone socket versions.

Available Patterns
The Boge 513™ comes in several patterns, including AESB513XPX, AESB513XPZ, AEQTHP, AESB513BXPQT, and AESB513AXPQT.

Design and Features
The Boge 513™ is a double-ended instrument featuring a modified anterior sickle/hoe scaler. One end has an elongated shank with a straight, slightly lipped cutting edge designed for stability during vertical and horizontal strokes. The other end is a Nebraska 128 sickle scaler.

Clinical Applications
The anterior hoe is suitable for scaling marginal recession areas, upper and lower anterior regions, areas with fixed orthodontic wires, and posterior areas with root surface exposure. The Nebraska 128 sickle scaler is ideal for interproximal contact areas and areas with crowding or recession.
