Regal Series Recessed Flatwalls General Specifications The Amico Regal Series Recessed Flatwall shall be manufactured by Amico Corporation, in accordance with job specific shop drawings and documents. The complete Flatwall assembly shall be cULus listed. The following is a general specification, and components listed may not be present or required in final product. The Regal Series Flatwall System is listed by Underwriters Laboratories Inc.(UL) in Canada and the United States of America. This product also complies with the seismic requirements of, and is approved by the State of California’s Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSPHD). Amico Corporation manufactures all products in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), NFPA-99c (current edition) and National Electric Code (NEC). The installation contractor is responsible for compliance with all local, state, and federal codes applicable to the installation of medical gas and electrical systems. Submittals and Verifications Job specific shop drawings shall be produced for each project. These shop drawings will clearly indicate the area of Medical Gas termination, and electrical connection points outside the Flatwall System. As Built drawings will be produced, and emailed at the time of shipment. Regal Series Recessed Flatwalls Materials and Construction Enclosure shall be constructed of one piece galvanized steel back box to provide a modular unit with accessory rails for equipment management. Standard widths of the Regal Series Recessed Flatwall are 14" (356 mm) and 19" (483 mm). Standard heights are 55" (1397 mm) and 72" (1829 mm) heights. Regal Series Recessed Flatwalls Lighting (Optional) Direct, Indirect and night light lighting can be provided by the Amico 3' or 4' overbed or ceiling lighting system. These fixtures provide lighting on and above the patient bed. Each fixture shall accommodate three (3) fluorescent bulbs (supplied by others) and one (1) LED bulb (supplied by Amico).
