Usage Procedure
- Elevate the patient’s limb for 1 minute.
- Roll the exsanguinator onto the operator's arm until the hand shows from the opposite end.
- Grasp the patient’s hand or foot, enclosing all digits.
- Gently pull on the limb while rolling the exsanguinator from operator to patient.
- Roll the exsanguinator up to the level of the padded tourniquet cuff.
- Note: Assistance may be needed for adult legs over the upper thigh.
- Once the tourniquet cuff is inflated, roll off the exsanguinator.
