Anti-tipping wheeled stairway climber Antano, the world leader in stairway climbers has created Gecko with an exclusive patent, the only automated anti-tipping stairway climber. Gecko allows those with mobility difficulties to ascend and descend any type of staircase in complete safety. The automated system allows each operator to drive effortlessly. The patented anti-tipping technology guarantees zero errors, accidents or mishaps during ascent or descent. Gecko is universal and can be used immediately.

■ REAR SUPPORT HANDLES The rear support facilitates manoeuvring the stairway climber onto the floor. The red button activates the front anti-tipping system and allows the stairway climber to tilt automatically when the first step down is taken. ■ SLIDING WHEELCHAIR ANCHOR SUPPORT Wheelchair backrest fixing adjustment for correct seating of the wheelchair on the stairway climber. ■ LOCKING AND HITCHING SUPPORT The wheelchair is docked and firmly secured thanks to the fixing blocks.

■ FRONT ANTI-TIPPING DEVICE (PATENTED) The patented technology allows the stability of the machine on the stairs by always resting on two steps. The stairway climber is the only one that has no unbalance problems in the intermediate phase of ascending and descending between steps.
