SOCRATE ALZH Fully electric height-adjustable wooden orthopaedic bed designed for Alzheimer's patients SOCRATE ALZHEIMER is an elderly bed designed for patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease and is characterised by a bed frame with a height of only 28 cm from the ﬂoor, which guarantees the patient's safety both when lying in bed and during mobilisation. This model is ideal for home care of the elderly and disabled. The minimal height from the ﬂoor of the bed frame allows even small patients to place their feet ﬁrmly on the ﬂoor before being helped up by the operator, thus reducing the risk of falls and injuries. The side rails are designed to protect the patient from accidental falls; they are arranged on both sides and can act as a barrier or be lowered if not in use. The various bed movement features can be activated by both the caregiver and the patient using the controls on the hand control. Trendelenburg and anti-Trendelenburg function thanks to two actuators positioned at the ends.
