Antiseptica Combi-Instruments-^ Liquid concentrate for the manual disinfection of instruments and laboratory equipment with a very broad spectrum of efficacy Fields of application: The disinfection of instruments is an essential process in hospital hygiene. The reprocessing of medical devices, especially the manual reprocessing, has to meet very high requirements in order to inhibit infections and thereby ensure the safety of patients and personnel. Antiseptica Combi-Instruments-W can be used as high-level disinfectant according to the CDC Guideline for Disinfection and Sterilization in Healthcare Facilities, 2008. Antiseptica Combi-Instruments-W is a combination of the active ingredients glutaraldehyde and formacetale. It offers a very high material compatibility and is very well suited for the manual disinfection of surgical instruments and laboratory equipment made of plastics, porcelain, rubber, glass, and metal; additionally it can be used on thermolabile and thermostable anaesthesia equipment as well as on rigid and flexible endoscopes. Antiseptica Combi-Instruments-W can safely be used in all commercially available dosing systems. Application: Manual instrument disinfection; immersion procedure: Dilute concentrate with water to the desired concentration specified in the recommendations for use (make use of dosage table). Immerse dismantled, opened and cleaned instruments fully into the prepared disinfection solution for the recommended contact time. Ensure that the entire instrument is fully submerged during the entire contact time and avoid bubbles and cavities. Cover disinfection trays.
