Washing lotion with antimicrobial effect in case of MRSA / VRE colonisation Fields of application: When a patient is colonised with multi-resistant pathogens like the Methicillin-(Oxacillin-) resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA / ORSA) or Vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE) it is recommended to perform a complete body wash including the hair. The preparation should show a rapid effect and should be favourable to the skin. Dermoguard Plus has been tested according to DGHM Standard Methods and the European Norm EN 1499. Dermoguard is certified for hygienic hand decontamination; it is a washing lotion for the hygienic treatment of the skin (hands, body incl. hair) when colonised with resistant pathogens like MRSA or VRE. Furthermore, Dermoguard is suitable for the infection prophylaxis in all functional areas of hospitals, in doctors' and dentists' practices, and secondary areas of human medicine. It is especially suited for the use in nursing homes, in kitchens and in the food industry. Then foam up with clear water and rinse off thoroughly. Dry hands carefully with a disposable cloth. • For showering / for the body and hair wash: Put Dermoguard Plus directly, or with a wash-cloth or sponge, onto the skin. Rub in thoroughly for minimum 30 seconds, then foam up with clear water and rinse off thoroughly. Dry skin accurate. Massage into hair for minimum 30 seconds, then foam up with clear water and thoroughly rinse out. Dry hair as usual. Ingredients: Didecyldimethylammonium Chloride, 1,3-Dimethylurea, Propan-1-ol, Propylene glycol, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Propan-2-ol, Dibutyl adipate, Fragrance, Citric acid, Purified water.
