Instruton E - 1

Enzymatic concentrate for the chemothermic and manual reprocessing of instruments Appearance: Odour: pH-value: Density: Fields of application: According to the CDC Guideline for Disinfection and Sterilization in Healthcare Facilities, 2008, thorough and residue-free cleaning of medical instruments is essential before high-level disinfection and sterilization because inorganic and organic materials that remain on the instruments interfere with the effectiveness of these processes. Instruton E is an enzymatic cleaning concentrate for the chemothermic and manual reprocessing of endoscopes and medical instruments. The product has very good soil-dissolving properties and, therefore, provides thorough cleaning results. At the same time it is gentle on the instrument surfaces due to its neutral pH-value. Instruton E is suitable for the use in hospitals, medical practices and laboratories and is also suitable for the use in ultrasonic baths (35 - 45 °C). Special characteristics: • very effective and efficient cleaning • residue-free in 2 - 3 minutes • pH-neutral • biodegradable • good material compatibility • very economic use • low foaming • free of perfumes and colourants Application: • Chemothermic reprocessing: The dosage of 0.5 - 1.0 % is regulated via the pumps inside endoscope cleaning and disinfection machines or other reprocessing machines. The recommended temperature for the water is between 35 and 45 °C. Follow the recommendations given by the manufacturer of the machines. • Manual reprocessing: Dilute concentrate with water; choose a concentration between 0.5 and 3 % depending on the degree of soiling. Immerse dismantled and opened instruments fully into the prepared solution for 2 - 3 minutes. Ensure that the entire instrument is fully submerged during the entire contact time and avoid bubbles and cavities. Cover cleaning trays. The ideal water temperature lies between 30 °C and 40 °C. Renew solution once or twice daily; if heavily contaminated, prepare fresh solution immediately. After the cleaning step with Instruton E all Antiseptica instrument disinfectants can be used for the disinfection step. Properly rinse instruments between the individual reprocessing steps. Ingredients: Protease, amylase, lipase, surfactants, solubilizer, corrosion inhibitor. Physical and chemical characteristics: clear, slightly yellow liquid characteristic approx. 7 at 18 - 28 °C approx. 1 g/cm3 at 20 °C Special advice: • For professional use only. • Clean and rinse instruments, trays and accessories properly before first use or when switching products. • Please follow local guidelines for reprocessing medical devices and the instructions given by the manufacturer of the medical instruments!
