Alcoholic, ready to use solution for the targeted rapid disinfection of surfaces with residue-free drying Fields of application: Ethisol® is a ready to use, alcoholic solution for the targeted rapid disinfection of surfaces. The product is free of aldehydes and QACs (quaternary ammonium compounds) as well as any additives like surfactants, perfumes, or colourants, that could remain on the surface. Therefore, an entirely residue-free drying of the product is assured. Ethisol® is particularly well suited for the use in the cosmetic industry, cosmetic studios and beauty salons, e.g. for the disinfection of surfaces that are used for manicure or pedicure. Furthermore, the product is suitable for disinfection measures in laboratories and diagnostics, in households and in public and collective institutions like nursing homes and kindergarten. Moreover, the residue-free, quickly drying product is ideally suited for the disinfection in the food industry and food-processing areas. Ethisol® is, particularly for clean rooms, available with gamma-sterilised, two-phase packaging and therefore very well suited for the application in the pharmaceutical industry. page 2 Application: Surface disinfection without mechanical action acc. to EN methods: Apply a sufficient amount of the undiluted, ready to use product to the surface. Ensure a thorough, complete moistening of the surface and allow to operate for the recommended contact time. Massive contamination with organic material, e.g. blood, secretions, etc., should be removed before disinfection using a disposable cloth moistened with disinfectant, which should then be properly disposed.
