Open the catalog to page 5The bioresorbable PLLA TRIM-IT Spin Pin offers the surgeon the advantage of exact sizing of the PIP joint implant without leaving pin material across the DIP joint or countersinking. The TRIM-IT Spin Pin's laser-marked metal trocar tip acts as a drill and measuring device, providing for an exact fit of the implant. ■ No DIP joint fusion ■ Enables anatomic position of the toe after implantation (“flexed toe fusion”) TRIM-IT Spin Pin™ Disposable Kit
Open the catalog to page 6The PEEK PIP dart gives the surgeon the ability to fuse the PIP joint without leaving metal or bioabsorbable material in the toe. The barbs hold compression and the ridges of the dart prevent rotation. ■ Available in 2.5 and 3 mm diameter ■ Straight or 10 degree bend to mimic normal toe anatomy ■ PEEK material - radiolucent and strong but easy to cut ■ The sterile kits contain all the necessary instruments
Open the catalog to page 7The CPR technique reconstructs the anatomic structures that lead to the instability of the second MTP joint. A plantar plate repair and lateral soft tissue reefing can restore the normal alignment of the joint with anatomic repair. The Mini Scorpion DX, Micro SutureLasso and Viper provide state-of-the-art suture passing options in the plantar plate. ■ Mini Scorpion DX - when an osteotomy is indicated ■ Viper - when an osteotomy is not necessary or for revision cases ■ Direct anatomic repair from a dorsal incision CPR™ Instrument Set (AR-8690S) (a) CPR™ Mini Scorpion™ DX Disposable Kit (b)...
Open the catalog to page 8CPR™ Viper™ Disposable Kit (c) The forefoot InternalBrace implant system is an all-in-one system. It comes with 3 mm x 8 mm tenodesis screw implants, FiberTape and LabralTape sutures, drill bits, guide wires, and suture shuttling devices in a convenient, sterile package. The forefoot InternalBrace implant system can be used to treat many different pathologies about the forefoot such as crossover toe deformities (extensor digitorum brevis transfer) and hallux varus deformity.
Open the catalog to page 9The QuickFix small staple and Plaple made of stainless steel are used for fixation of an Akin osteotomy. The QuickFix small staples are included in AR-8714S and the forefoot set AR-8610S-01.
Open the catalog to page 10The titanium “snap-off” QuickFix screws are designed for forefoot fixations such as the Weil osteotomy. ■ Cannulated ■ Self-drilling and self-tapping ■ Hexalobe connection (Torx) for Mini and standard compression FT screws ■ Short and long K-wires available (80 mm or 120 mm) ■ Titanium
Open the catalog to page 11The forefoot set includes the 2 mm “snap-off” QuickFix screws, the 2.5 mm and 3 mm headless compression screws, and the QuickFix small staples. Product Description
Open the catalog to page 12Product Description QuickFix™ screw, 2 mm x 10 - 14 mm (1 mm increments) QuickFix™ screw, 3 mm x 13 - 19 mm Screw, partially threaded, cannulated, 3 mm x 10 - 36 mm Screw, partially threaded, cannulated, 2.3 mm x 10 - 30 mm Screw, fully threaded, 2.3 mm x 10 - 30 mm The forefoot screw set includes the 2 mm and 3 mm “snap-off” QuickFix screws, cannulated and non-cannulated 2.3 mm screws, and 3 mm cannulated partially threaded screws. Screws are available up to 40 mm for other indications
Open the catalog to page 13The compression FT screws are fully threaded cylindrical compression screws for maximum hold in the bone. The screws come in the sizes 2.5 mm (Micro), 3.5 mm (Mini) and 4 mm (standard). ■ Variable stepped thread pitch creates compression during insertion
Open the catalog to page 14QuickFix™ Cannulated Screws The QuickFix cannulated screws are suitable for osteotomies of the foot, ankle, hand, wrist, and elbow.
Open the catalog to page 16Produced from solid enhanced PLLA, this screw offers interfragmentary compression and a headless profile for fracture and osteotomy fixation in periarticular applications. ■ Eliminates metal screw removal ■ Compression due to the stepped thread pitch and tapered profile ■ Headless ■ Bioabsorbable (PLLA)
