6 HOW TO DESIGN YOUR LABORATORY To furnish your laboratory all you have to do is: 1 Take measurements of the room; 2 Indicate the position of the windows, doors and power sockets and discharges on the layout; 3 Indicate if there are any skirting boards, columns and coving present and their dimensions; 4 Select the worktop and type of base according to your needs; 5 Indicate the underbench units you require; 6 Personalise with accessories: taps, power sockets, panels. Our benches come in single side-by-side 600, 900, 1200, 1500 and 1800 mm base modules or in configurations with a single central leg which makes alignment easier. The bases are coated with epoxy acid-resistant resin in RAL 9010 Pure White. The wall benches have standard depths of 660 or 810 mm and the central benches depths of 1260 and 1560 mm.

C FRAME CONFIGURATION OF BASE LEGS This gives the operator maximum freedom of movement since the frame legs are not at the front. The base of the frames with standard depth is set back to allow it to be placed against the wall if there is a skirting board and put into place after fitting power sockets and discharges on the wall. The side infill panel can be easily removed and can be shaped on request.

The protective coating on the metal structures involves pickling and hot phosphating and the application of electrostatically applied epoxy resin powder based paint (100±10 micron thick) in RAL 9010 Pure White (other colours available on request) and then dried in a heat tunnel at 180 °C.
