The CFS fills vials, syringes and cartridges, and applies stoppers to vials immediately after filling. Programmable recipes ensure highly precise and gentle filling, and in-process weigh check with integrated electronic batch records ensures that containers are filled to specification. Designed for cGMP compliance, the versatility and robust features offered by the CFS are guaranteed to meet the needs of a wide variety of applications. The Container Closing System (CCS) is a semi-automatic table-top system for syringe and cartridge closing. Using either vent-tube insertion, vacuum insertion, or a combination of the two, the CCS provides complete control of the closing process for a wide range of syringe and cartridge sizes. Tool-less format parts allow for quick changeover between container sizes or insertion methods, allowing operators to accommodate different containers and closure methods with ease. AST’s Vial Sealing System (VSS) performs semi-automatic crimp capping for a wide range of pharmaceutical vial sizes. The VSS allows users to set, monitor and record critical recipe parameters, and is designed to minimize particle generation during sealing. With the ability to provide consistent, high-quality seals, the VSS is the ideal platform for finishing vials in small batch aseptic processing.
