The new Zuzi polarimeter model 404-LED, is a robust equipment specially aimed to simple laboratory applications and to those educational works that require the comprehension of concepts such as polarized light, optical rotation and optically active substances. This new model 404-LED is provided with a LED diode as light source, thus offering a good alternative against conventional polarimeters since the life time of LED diode is around 500 times higher than that of the sodium vapour lamp.
