Modular Femoral Head - Bipolar 12.30 - Surgical Technique 1. Use the universal handle 8291 and the test 8028 to define the diameter of metallic bipolar head Ref. 1031. Verify which is the correct polyethylene acetabular component 1032 to be used. 2. Use the tests 8028 (bipolar head), 8292 (femoral head) and the correspondent test stem to define the the definitive components. 3. Place the chosen femoral stem and impact through the impactor 8280.

Modular Femoral Head -Bipolar 12.30 - Surgical Technique 4. Place the polyethylene component 1032 manually. Check the correct fitting and articulation. 5. With small rotations place the metallic bipolar head 1031 in the polyethylene component 1032 and impact through the impactor 8280 or place the metallic bipolar head 104 in the polyethylene component 1032 and impact through the impactor 8280.
