Product catalog summary
Technical Specifications
  • System: Diode-pumped solid state laser (DPSSL) with a wavelength of 1040 ± 25nm. Pulse frequency options are 80 or 160 kHz, with a pulse duration of 290–550 fs. The power supply is 230 VAC ~ 50 Hz/60 Hz, and the system requires a power outlet L6-30 with a heat load of 3000 w. The system weighs 1800 lb and has dimensions of L: 81.7 in (without patient bed), L: 82.7 in (with patient bed), W: 32.5 in, H: 65.9 in.
  • Components: Includes the main laser unit, patient bed, sterile patient interface kit, live-action high-contrast OCT, high-resolution video microscope, and optional external microscope. The patient interface features intelligent pressure sensors and a curved interface with a separate suction clip.
Applications
  • Used for cataract procedures such as capsulotomy, phacofragmentation, corneal incisions, and arcuate incisions. Also applicable for corneal procedures like LASIK flap creation.
Environment
  • Room Conditions: Temperature should be between 64.4°F to 75.2°F, controlled to +/- 2°F, with humidity between 30% to 50%, noncondensing. The room must be free of dust, particles, solvents, chemical liquids, or fumes, and have no carpet. The floor under the laser must support 15.6 lb/in2.
  • Room Dimensions: Minimum requirements are 11 ft 2 in x 12 ft 2 in for a 35° bed and 12 ft 8 in x 12 ft 2 in for a 70° bed.
  • Installation Requirements: Corridors and doorways must be wider than 33 inches, with no doorstops less than 79 inches behind doors. Corridors narrower than 47.5 inches must have no 90° corners. Floors must not have gaps greater than 1 inch. Elevators must have a minimum length of 79 inches, width of 33 inches, and accept a minimum load of 1874 lb. Ramps should not exceed a 20° angle. The floor must support 1654 lb for the laser and 552 lb for the bed, plus personnel and patient weight. The room must not have been painted within 3 weeks prior to installation.
Contraindications
  • Includes corneal disease or pathology that affects laser transmission, patients who do not give informed consent, pregnant or nursing patients, those with existing corneal implants, previous cornea surgery, or pediatric patients. Conditions like glaucoma, retinal disorders, rheumatic diseases, epilepsy, herpes zoster or simplex keratitis, and heavy vascularization of ocular tissues are also contraindicated. Conditions affecting docking, such as chemosis, nystagmus, significant conjunctiva instability, keratoconus, and corneal diseases requiring treatment, are contraindicated. Poorly dilating pupils, anterior chamber depths outside 1.5 mm to 4.8 mm, dry eye diseases, cataract, diabetes mellitus, severe acne rosacea, severe wound healing disorders, and immune deficiency diseases are also contraindicated. Not suitable for laser-assisted lens fragmentation of posterior subcapsular (PSC) and cortical cataracts.
Safety and Compliance
  • Classified as a Laser Class 3B device with a maximum output power of 0.86 W. Complies with IEC 60825-1:2007 standards. Restricted to sale and use by or on the order of a licensed physician.
