Usage and Safety
The device is intended for use with the PRISMAFLEX System to heat return blood during treatment. It utilizes an electric heating sleeve on a standard CRRT filter set, eliminating the need for special disposables or additional fluids. The return line is inserted into the heating sleeve groove, maintaining blood warmth up to the patient. The device should not be used in explosive environments. It features an intuitive digital interface displaying actual and set temperatures, with an integrated self-test and independent temperature sensors for patient safety.
