Lifeline Manifolds

Product catalog summary
Overview
The LifeLine® Global Manifolds are designed for reliable and efficient medical gas service, utilizing dome biased primary regulators to ensure maximum flow rates without the risk of ice formation, a common cause of manifold failure. These manifolds are compliant with NFPA, CSA, and ISO standards and are suitable for outdoor installations due to their NEMA 4 enclosure.

Specifications
  • Ultra high flow rates tested to ISO 10524-2.
  • Fully automatic operation with dome loaded regulators.
  • Flouro-polymer free headers for cylinder O2 service.
  • Compact design with no NPT connections to minimize leaks.
  • Environmental testing to MIL STD 810F and ignition testing to ISO 10524-2.

Configurations
The manifold can be configured for various source types, including cylinder by cylinder, liquid by liquid, or mixed configurations. It also supports automatic backup for bulk and mini-bulk installations.

Installation and Service
Installation is simplified with a bracket system and gas-tight connections. The manifold features TotalAlert Embedded (TAE) electronics for remote monitoring and alerts. Service operations can be performed without shutdown due to full redundancy.

Flow Capacities
  • Delivery pressure of 380 kPA (55 psig) provides a minimum flow rate of 93.4 m3/hour.
  • Delivery pressure of 690 kPA (100 psig) provides a minimum flow rate of 130.8 m3/hour.
  • Delivery pressure of 1.2 mPA (180 psig) provides a minimum flow rate of 151.2 m3/hour.

Key Benefits
  • Adaptable to liquid or gas configurations for any medical gas requirement.
  • Highly reliable dome biased switching.
  • Easy installation and servicing.
  • Reduced potential for leaks with no NPT connections.
  • Remote monitoring capabilities with TAE electronics.
  • Outdoor suitability with NEMA 4 enclosure.

Liquid Manifold Flow Capacities
  • Argon: 9.9 m3/hour
  • Carbon Dioxide: 4.2 m3/hour
  • Nitrogen: 9.9 m3/hour
  • Nitrous Oxide: 3.1 m3/hour
  • Oxygen: 9.9 m3/hour

Note: Liquid containers have delivery limits and should not exceed two per header.

Lifeline Manifolds-4

BeaconMed^^ LifeLine Cylinder Manifold Flow Capacities This flow rate is the minimum flow rate which will be expected just prior to switchover. With full cylinders, the flow rate may be considerably higher. Always compare manifolds at switchover. Liquid containers have limits in their rate of delivery and are typically more limited than the manifold. Given below are typical output capacities for single liquid containers. With two liquid containers on a header, this capacity may be doubled. BeaconMed&s does not recommend more than two liquid containers per header. (Note: containers do vary in...
