Radiation-free Solution for Measuring Bone Age At least 5% of children aged 5-18 are affected by short stature and/or growth abnormalities, with various types of treatments prescribed in order to enable these children to attain normal adult height. Such children are routinely tested for skeletal maturity to track their growth development; and many others are tested to identify growth patterns and deficiencies.
