The test is calibrated against the WHO International Standard Anti-SARS-CoV-2 Immunoglobulin, ensuring standardized results. It shows no cross-reactivity with antibodies to other common coronaviruses.

The test involves several steps: adding sample diluent and specimens, incubating with HRP-conjugate, adding chromogen solutions, and reading the results at 450nm. The process includes multiple wash cycles to ensure accuracy.
