❱❱❱ Medicart Locking The possibility of locking medication carts and monitoring the administration of medication is becoming increasingly important. Belintra offers various locking options: a keypad with PIN code for carts not equipped with IT and USB control via the PC to grant access via badge, password or other identification methods (see Medicart IT). Locking is by a fully automatic lock. After identification, no extra action is needed to open or close the drawers. ❱❱❱ Flexible configuration When configuring the carts, you can determine which drawers have to be locked and thus be fitted with a closing mechanism. The chosen drawers are unlocked and locked again together. If necessary your own technical staff can add or remove closing mechanisms over time. If a drawer remains open after locking, this will still be locked when slid shut. ❱❱❱ Protection of mechanical parts All mechanical parts are shielded within the cart to prevent them becoming blocked should something fall out of the drawers. ❱❱❱ Emergency opening Emergency opening is possible at all times if there is a power outage due to a technical fault. ❱❱❱ 1. Keypad Locking ❱❱❱ Keypad with PIN code Carts without integrated IT can be fitted with a keypad with PIN code. This keypad is ergonomically integrated into the raised edge of the Kydex worktop. The drawers are opened by entering the PIN code. The drawers can be closed/locked again in two ways: automatically after a certain defined time or manually by entering a code again. ❱❱❱ Integrated LED indicator The LED indicator lights up green if the trolley is opened, and when closed the LED indicator is red.
