The Verto Turning Mattress is designed to assist patients who are unable to move or turn themselves, thereby reducing the risk of developing pressure sores due to insufficient blood supply to certain body areas. The mattress gently rotates the patient from side to side at a 10-4QQ angle, applying less than 26mm Hg of pressure on the skin tissue.
Air circulation is facilitated through tiny pinholes in the top of the cells, allowing moisture from the patient to transfer through the vapor-permeable fabric cover and interact with the air from the mattress, enhancing comfort and skin health.
