Application Tips: Ensure the patient's skin is completely dry before applying CathGrip®. Moisture from cleansing wipes or Chlorhexidine can reduce wear time. The application site should be as dry as possible.
Wear Time: The initial application may last shorter due to the hydrocolloid material absorbing moisture. CathGrip can be worn for up to 7 days.
Single-Use: Dispose of after removal. Reuse can cause malfunction or infection risk.
Contraindications:
  • Absolute: Sensitivity to hydrocolloid.
  • Relative: Unhealed wounds, active rash, or inflammation at the application site.
Use only on intact skin. Discontinue use if redness or irritation occurs and consult a healthcare practitioner.
Incident Reporting: Report any serious incidents to the manufacturer and competent authority.
Instructions for Best Results: Follow the 5 P’s: Prep, Peel, Press, Place, Pull. Clean the application site with an alcohol wipe or non-moisturizing soap and allow to dry. Avoid contact with cleansing products near the device to prevent early dislodgement.
Removal: Replace CathGrip when adhesive turns white, becomes loose, or needs removal. Use FreeDermTM adhesive remover or warm water for removal.

For Best Results Follow the 5 P’s • Prep • Peel • Press • Place • Pull Contents: • 1 Alcohol Wipe* • 1 BioPlus+™ Barrier Wipe • 1 Hydrocolloid Universal Securement Device Clean entire application site with an alcohol wipe and/ or nonmoisturizing soap. Allow to dry. Hydrocolloid Adhesive Oval Soft Strap with NoSlip Grip Wipe entire application site with BioPlus+TM. Allow 15+ seconds to dry.
