Product catalog summary
Features and Benefits
  • Flow Through Devices/Drop Dispensing: Custom pallets are used to control part positioning for drop dispensing applications. Each pallet includes reference guides to maintain alignment during dispensing. Multiple devices can be dispensed simultaneously, and drop presence sensors can be integrated to reject parts with ink marks.
  • Lateral Flow/Line Dispensing: The conveyor operates continuously for line dispensing. An optical sensor detects substrate positioning, triggering the dispensers. A guide system ensures substrate alignment under the dispensers along the Y-axis.
System Overview

The CDS1000 and CDS1050 are conveyor-based motion platforms designed to integrate with BioDot’s dispensers. Parts are placed on the conveyor and automatically positioned under the dispensers. Finished parts are moved to an offload area. Dispenser positions are programmable in the Y and Z axes.

Specifications
  • Conveyor Speed: Up to 20 cm per second.
  • Platform Motion: X-Movement is conveyor controlled; Y and Z movements are controlled by stepper motors, with the CDS1000 using pneumatic and micrometer for Z-movement.
  • Position Axis Accuracy: Controlled by stepper motors for Y and Z axes, with conveyor guides for positioning.
  • Dimensions: Length: 54 in (137 cm), Height: 22 in (56 cm), Width: 24 in (61 cm).
  • Power Requirements: 110/220 VAC; 50 - 60 Hz; 40 - 60 PSI air.
