For areas that require “elbow room”, the smaller backrest coupled with the larger ergonomic seat allows nurse midwives, anesthesiologists as well as many laboratory technicians to appreciate this chair. As with the other chairs in the Vacuum-Formed series, the comfort and ease of use can’t be beat. STANDARD FEATURES Backrest: 15 1/2" wide x 14 1/2" high, lumbar curve, protective plastic back panel, height and tilt adjustment standard. Seat: Saddle-shaped, contoured, 21" wide x 19" deep x 3" thick with waterfall front. Controls: Standard with Task Control – Soft-touch pneumatic seat-height adjustment, fixed rearward seat tilt of 3 1/2°, backrest tilt, backrest-height adjustment. Base: 5-legged black reinforced composite base with 27" leg spread (26" caster to caster); not for ESD use. Fire Retardant: Meets California Technical Bulletin 117. Casters and Glides: Models available standard with casters have an R following the model number/manufacturing code. The remaining models are standard with nickel-plated glides. Standard casters are a single-wheel ball bearing caster for hard floors; many other optional casters/glides are available. Metal Parts: FLN Series chairs have a powder-coated finish as standard or chrome-plated metal parts when specified with a C option code (base remains black plastic with the C option).
