OSTEOTOMY INITIALIZATION / ANGULATION Osteotomy Initialization The Alignment Drill is used to initiate the osteotomy to a depth of 5mm. The cutting surface of the drill hub prepares the crestal bone to accept the stop geometry of the Depth Drill and the Trial Implant. The drill has an aggressive cutting geometry to function well in dense cortical bone.
