Product catalog summary
General Information
HyproSorb® F is a rigid, bilayer membrane made from pure, crystalline atelocollagen derived from the bovine Achilles tendon. It is available in three sizes and is known for its high tensile and bending strength due to densely packed collagen fibers. The membrane should be soaked in saline or the patient's blood for at least one minute before application to facilitate handling. It is the result of extensive research collaboration between Hypro s.r.o. and Bioimplon GmbH.
Indications
HyproSorb F is primarily used in dental surgery and implantology for the restitution of bone defects. It is indicated for procedures such as cystectomy, sinus lift, resection of upper root, and maxillofacial surgery, among others.
Properties
The membrane consists of collagen type I of bovine origin and has a bilayer structure with one smooth and one rough side. The smooth side prevents lateral ingrowth of gingival tissue, while the rough side promotes cell invasion and integration of bone cells. The resorption process occurs in two phases, with the membrane remaining intact for six to eight weeks before resorption begins, completing within six months.
Advantages
  • Pure, crystalline atelocollagen type I, free of immunogenic telopeptides
  • High tissue biocompatibility and excellent wound healing characteristics
  • Reduced risk of dehiscence formation
  • Quick adaptation to defects due to hydrophilic properties
  • Can be attached with pins and suturing material
  • Long barrier function with resorption starting after six to eight weeks
  • Naturally resorbable within six months, eliminating the need for a second operation
  • Long shelf life of five years
Important Information
The product is composed of 99.9% crystalline, absorbable, bovine, sterile atelocollagen. It has a shelf life of five years and must be stored in a dry place at temperatures between -25°C and +50°C, protected from direct sunlight.
Postoperative Care
In case of wound dehiscence with membrane exposure, usual antimicrobial precautions are recommended. Removal of the membrane is not necessary, and the properties of collagen may favor rapid healing.
Product Portfolio
HyproSorb F is available in three sizes: 15 x 20 x 0.2 mm, 20 x 30 x 0.2 mm, and 30 x 40 x 0.2 mm, all serving as bilayer barriers for guided tissue regeneration (GTR) and guided bone regeneration (GBR).

Hypro-Sorb® F-2

General information HyproSorb® F is a rigid, bilayer membrane of pure, crystalline atelocollagen derived from the bovine Achilles tendon. It is the most rigid membrane in our portfolio and comes in three different sizes. HyproSorb F is 0.2 mm thick with high tensile and bending stength due to densely packed collagen fibers. Therefore, it is recommended to soak the membrane with saline or the patient's blood for at least 1 minute before application to facilitate handling. The membrane is the result of many years of experience and an intensive research collaboration between scientific teams of...

Hypro-Sorb® F-3

Properties The membrane consists of collagen type I of bovine origin. Due to its manufacturing process it has a bilayer structure with one smooth and one rough side. The smooth side has a compact surface. It seals off the cells to prevent lateral ingrowth of gingival tissue. The properties of atelocollagen favor cell adhesion. This side of the membrane faces the soft tissue. The rough side of the membrane consists of loosely and porously arranged collagen fibers. It activates cell invasion. This side is turned towards the bone defect to improve the integration of bone cells and to accelerate...
