Product catalog summary
General Information
The Hypro-Sorb® M Matrix is a multilayer tissue matrix made from pure, crystalline atelocollagen derived from bovine Achilles tendon. It supports neovascularization and soft tissue integration, serving as a safe alternative to autograft materials. It offers strong regenerative effects and excellent barrier functions, developed through collaboration between Hypro s.r.o. and Bioimplon GmbH.
Mechanism of Regeneration and Remodeling Kinetics
Upon implantation, the matrix is infiltrated by the patient's blood, initiating neovascularization. The process is influenced by the internal surface area of the matrix, which is notably high at over 150,000 cm²/cm². Atelocollagen's affinity for thrombocytes releases growth factors that promote tissue regeneration. The matrix is absorbed within six months through enzyme activity, specifically collagenases.
Indications
The matrix is used in periodontal and maxillofacial surgeries, including treatments for gingival recession, alveolar tissue growth, sinus lifts, furcation treatment, and cleft lip and palate repair.
Advantages
Key benefits include biocompatibility, rapid integration, complete remodeling, excellent barrier function, and a six-month resorption time. It is easy to handle, can be cut to shape, and is sterile for five years. The matrix is cost-effective and eliminates the need for autograft harvesting.
Properties
The matrix is composed of 99.9% collagen type I, free of telopeptides, and is produced using atelopeptidation and lyophilization technologies. It is apyrogenic and does not provoke an immune response.
Product Information
Available in three sizes: 20x25x2 mm (6 pieces), 25x25x2 mm (1 piece), and 25x50x2 mm (1 piece). It is a class III medical device, clinically tested and certified.
Storage and Postoperative Care
Store between -25°C and +50°C, protected from sunlight. In case of wound dehiscence, antimicrobial precautions are recommended, but membrane removal is unnecessary.

Hypro-Sorb® M Matrix – periodontal-2

General information The HyproSorb® M Matrix is a multilayer tissue matrix of pure, crystalline atelocollagen (telopeptidefree collagen) derived from the bovine Achilles tendon. It supports neovascularization and controlled soft tissue integration and is a safe alternative for the patients’ own soft tissue grafting material. It has a particularly strong regenerative effect coupled with an excellent barrier function. The matrix is the result of many years of experience and an intensive research collaboration between scientific teams of Hypro s.r.o. and Bioimplon GmbH. Mechanism of regeneration...

Hypro-Sorb® M Matrix – periodontal-3

Preclinical tests have shown that the process is apyrogenic (without inflammatory reaction) and the presence of macrophages (inflammation cells) is irrelevant to the resorption of the atelocollagen. The absorption process results in slow hydrolysis of the collagen protein to give soluble peptides and amino acids, which are metabolized by the tissue cells and so promote the regeneration process and remodeling into the patient’s own tissue. The atelocollagen is tolerated by human tissues without any immune reaction and is metabolized through a mechanism similar to that of the tissue’s own collagen....

Hypro-Sorb® M Matrix – periodontal-4

Composition: This product is natural, pure, crystalline, resorbable, sterile bovine atelocollagen (99.9%collagen type I, free of telopeptides). Shelf life: Five years from the date of production. Stgorage conditions: The Hypro-Sorb® M Matrix must be stored at a temperature between -25°C and +50°C in a dry place. It needs to be protected from direct sunlight. Postoperative care In case of wound dehiscence with matrix exposure, the usual antimicrobial precautions are recommended. Removal of the membrane is not necessary. The resorption time may be accelerated by external influences such as saliva,...
