STERILIZING GAS AMPOULES - 1

BIOLENE ETHYLENE OXIDE STERILIZATION STERILIZING GAS AMPOULES ETHYLENE OXIDE STERILIZATION The use of sterilizing gas ampoules is a very simple and practical low-temperature sterilization method for medical devices. And as no gas, air installation or electrical connections are required, it can be performed anywhere. So it is a very good option for areas under emergency conditions. Any kind of material, previously packed, can be effectively sterilized with this method. Materials are not damaged, since this sterilization process does not use heat and/or pressure. Sterilization Kit The Sterilization Kit consists of one sterilizing gas ampoule (BL-05 or BL-20) wrapped in a diffusing membrane, one container bag and one seal to tighten the bag. Use description The ampoule must be put into the sterilization bag together with the items to be sterilized. Then the bag must be sealed and the ampoule broken. Sterilization times The sterilization process must last for at least 12 hours (depending on the kind of processed materials). The aeration time, following the sterilization process, will be a 24-hours period (at a minimum). The aeration time could be achieved in less time if ethylene oxide aerator is used. ffl Ruta Prov. 21 (KM 20,7) (B1761BWN) Merlo, Buenos Aires, Argentina
